Californian MGA hires new sales director to cope with demand

Cardigan General Insurance Services, an LA based wholesale brokerage has seen rapid growth recently in a number of specialty programs, and has hired a new sales director to meet the increasing demand.

CEO, Jason Turner, announced that Frank Jacoy has joined the company as Director of Sales for the firm’s Cardigan Property Programs Division. He will be responsible for business development, risk management, account management, program development and marketing of the commercial real estate products and services.

He said: “Frank is joining our organization when the Cardigan Property Programs Division is experiencing significant growth. Cardigan has one of the best-in-class real estate property programs in the market and with Frank’s industry experience, he will be a strong asset for our real estate community.”

Jacoy has worked in the insurance industry since 1991 in various sales and underwriting roles. His past employment includes 10 years at CIBA Insurance Services where he served as National Sales Manager for the commercial real estate program and Fireman’s Fund as Senior Excess Casualty underwriter.
